Dr. Charlesworth’s lecture will consider the question: how we are bringing Dr. Janusz Korczak’s values into training, teaching and preparing those who will be working with children and youth to do their work in a rights-based way? In the tumultuous times that we are living through right now, what is called for to ensure that children’s rights and sense of belonging are at the centre of our work? 

Dr. Charlesworth will consider what we can learn from young people with lived expertise  and how we might frame our thinking around child rights and voice.
