The association, in co-operation with other institutions, annually honors outstanding activists in the field of children’s rights, social work or paediatrics with a medal, a statuette, a Korczak Medallion and a Distinguished Social Worker Award; JKAC also funds the Janusz Korczak Graduate Scholarship in Children’s Rights and Canadian Indigenous Education at the UBC Faculty of Education.
