The Janusz Korczak Statuette is awarded annually for lifetime achievement in child advocacy and for vision and leadership in promoting the holistic approach to the wellbeing of children in the spirit of Doctor Korczak.
The recipient of the annual Janusz Korczak Statuette Award is an individual, group or organization that, in the Spirit of Dr. Korczak, is working towards improving children’s lives in ways that encourage love for children, listening to children, fostering healthy children’s lives, and building capacities in children.
The award recipient is an individual, group or organization that has taken a leadership role in promoting the holistic approach to the wellbeing of children in fields such as pediatrics, social work, child/youth work, nursing, law, the environment or education.
