Ann Montague, a Master of Arts in Educational Studies candidate at the UBC Faculty of Education, is this year’s recipient of the Janusz Korczak Association of Canada Graduate Scholarship in Children’s Rights and Canadian Indigenous Education. Her research provides a critical lens into the intersection of social-sustainability and early childhood education, and the need for greater relationality and attunement to addressing systemic power structures in these fields.
The 2018 Dean’s Distinguished Speaker Lecture: Janusz Korczak, the Father of Children’s Rights, Turning Rights into Action program began with presenting the scholarship certificate to Annie.
The Janusz Korczak Association of Canada would like to extend their congratulations to Annie Montague for her achievement.
